Wooden Stories Noki Side Chair w/Wood Seat

Rooted in the architecture of rural Japan, the Noki Chair takes its name—and its form—from the overhanging noki eaves found on traditional homes in Gifu. Designer Ryota Yokozeki distilled these references into a silhouette that feels poetic and precise, with a curved backrest extending gently like a roofline. The result is a deceptively simple chair defined by its balance of proportion, structure, and softness. Crafted entirely from solid wood, Noki brings sculptural calm to dining rooms, hospitality settings, or any space where quiet design speaks loudest.
