Ton Bentwood Chair

The TON Chair 18 is a classic, minimalist bentwood dining chair featuring a distinctive “loops-within-loops” backrest. Features a double-loop backrest where a smaller, hand-bent wooden inner loop sits flush inside the outer frame to provide ergonomic back support. Crafted from sustainably sourced European beechwood using traditional steam-bending techniques pioneered in the 19th century. Coated in a vibrant, opaque lacquer (resembling Resin Yellow) that uniformly covers the wood grain, giving the classic 1876 silhouette a striking, modern edge. Engineered for high-traffic environments, making it exceptionally lightweight, easy to move, and built to withstand decades of daily use.
